The club is going from strength to strength - 5 new members have joined in the last month. We are happy to welcome Noel Inns from Findon, Neil & Raylene Crabb from Glandore & Geoff Hewitt & wife from Victor Harbor.

The Wallaroo trip was a great success with 34 in attendance. The club supplied a cold meat & salad meal with cheesecake as a dessert for Wednesday's lunch and a BBQ for Friday's lunch. We also had 2 hotel meals.

The group did a tag along tour to the Moonta mines & did the tour on the little train around the mine. Some of the group visited the Currency Museum, while others visited the Farm Shed Museum. The usual Bocce tournament was of course tackled with great vigor.

The program for 2008 is as follows -

Clare - November 3rd to 10th will be our Melbourne Cup bivouac & is always a good week, so get your bookings in.

2009 - The following dates have been tentatively booked - February - Mount Gambier; April/May - Spear Creek; September - Waikerie and November - Normanville. More on these later.
